Commandos and an American GI in Paris
[Photo from the collection of Thomas Cyril Sharpe, No 4 Cdo & 1 SS/Cdo Bde..courtesy of his son in law Paul Briggs].
Paul adds "This was taken in Paris - Cyril and comrades took part in the Champs Elysses Victory parade. He is not in the photo - may have taken it. An American GI shares their table. Cyril told me that there was still some shooting going on from the odd sniper or two."
