2883201 James Connor volunteered for the Commandos from the Gordon Highlanders. Served from November 1941 in No.4 (Para) Troop of No.12 Commando (disbanded 1943) and No.6 Commando. Wounded 12 June 1944 during operations with No.6 Commando at Normandy.
Commando service: November 1941 until January 1946.
Post war member of the Commando Association from Scotland.
