Pte's Neal and Tommy Everett (on the right) Paignton Jan41
Tommy Everett was attd. to No.2 Cdo from the RAMC and later became a Sgt in No.2 Cdo. There is an additional picture of him in the 5 troop album with my father and uncle L/Sgt Joe Rogers MM and TSM Ken McAllister.
I cannot be certain that this is the same Pte Neal, but I think it likely it is, as like Tommy Everett, Alfred Neal was in the RAMC. Pte Alfred Neal was killed in action on the 28th March 1942 during Operation Chariot, the raid on the docks at St Nazaire
In Memory of Private ALFRED WILLIAM NEAL
