Frank Verbist was the Signal Sergeant of 4 Troop and a member of the Commando Association post war. In 1960 he was the Chief Officer of the large tanker the 'Stanvac Mariner', and by 1973 the Captain of the Esso Tanker 'Northumbria'. (Commando Association newsletters 30 and 56).
