Royal Marines relieve army units in the Haifa Port area, 24th January 1948, HMS Ricasoli, Shore Base, Malta. 40 Commando RM, a part of the Malta Garrison, was sent to Palestine for the temporary relief of army units in the Haifa Port Area.
