Henry Brown MBE being presented with a cheque by Major General Sir Robert Laycock KCMG, CB, DSO

Henry Brown was a Quartermaster RSM in No.1 Commando. In 1946 he became Secretary of the original Commando Association. He was also awarded an MBE in that year. This cheque was for his up to then 21 years service with the Commando Association. He was later awarded an OBE for his ongoing services to the Commando Association. In 1998 he was elected as President of the Commando Association. Henry died on the 26th February 2006.
