the man on the left of the picture is indeed a man known as his nickname "spud " he was also known as my father Horace Taylor , in the picture of course he was corporal Taylor ,for many years he spoke of his dear friend "Fitz" and I can only say what a delight it is to see this wonderful picture of them both.
