Back Row first on left is my grandfather William Henry Delaney
I have not got this photograph, but I have two photos on here. One has Salonika 2/2/45 written on the back. Would like to obtain a copy of this photo if at all possible?

Not 'pretty sure' now, that IS my dad (George Harris) - and I think that the man on the right (front row) is Tanky Bryne. I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Titch Garnett's daughter in Dieppe, 2014, and to realise that our dads were pals was amazing!

Not Wally but Douglas Todd
I have found that Wally was in the Home Guard. His brother Douglas was a RM Commando, but I don't know where he is in this photo.

Who is This Commando?
Does anyone know who this gentleman is, my late father (Alex 'Sandy' McIntosh) had this photo in his war diary with other friends, but only one had a name on it, sadly not this one. My father was an A/C Amourer and served with 34 squadron in India/Burma during 1944/45. He may have got the photo whilst he was training in the UK somewhere, I have no idea.
Hope someone can put a name to this fine gentleman
Many Thanks
Val Freeman

Fred Carrington mentions how he had left the billet for a church parade when the air raid occurred killing 3 (or 4) of those left inside.

Frank Letts 2 Cdo was from Wollaston in Northamptonshire as was Fred Carrington 43 Cdo and knew each other well. Both served on Vis at the same time (even visiting the same billet) though neither knew the other was there until meeting at home whilst on leave in England.
