Major Jimmy Dunning advises " In the foreground can be seen the unpopular Boys Anti Tank rifle (calibre .55). The troop are armed mainly with the .33 calibre Small Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE)rifle. Also seen are the .45 calibre Thompson sub machine gun"

Not 'pretty sure' now, that IS my dad (George Harris) - and I think that the man on the right (front row) is Tanky Bryne. I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Titch Garnett's daughter in Dieppe, 2014, and to realise that our dads were pals was amazing!
