CH/X105907 Marine Percy Jeal, aged 20, died on 28 March 1944 during an air attack on Vis, their base of operations against enemy held Dalmatian Islands. Son of Percy Walter and Mary Jeal, of Hassocks, Sussex. Remembered with honour at Belgrade War Cemetery. His brother Ernest served in 42RM Commando. Photo provided by Ernest's granddaughter Sarah.
