Pte Ronald Voller (centre) and others
Ronald Voller served in the Middle East Commando and the Special Raiding Squadron (SRS). He took part in two operations with the SRS in Sicily at Capo di Morro Porco and at Augusta. He left the SRS returning to his unit on 16 August 1943.
Notes
He possibly progressed into the M.E. Commando from No.11 Commando which embarked for the Middle East as part of Layforce and was later disbanded. His daughter in law is applying for a copy of his service record to confirm early service.
