Large number of photos of unidentified Commandos from the collection of L/Cpl John Emmerson, known to all as Ken.

[Group of unidentified photos, some reproduced from negatives found by his son John in his father's collection. His father was LCpl John Emmerson. Known to all as Ken, he served in No. 2 Commando, later in No.14 and No.12 Commando, finally being attached to 1 Special Service Brigade HQ].

So the photos could come from any of his postings with these units, however it is expected that most will be from his time with Special Service Brigade HQ circa 1944/5.

Provided to the CVA by his son John Emmerson, many others are already in specific galleries where they have been identified by unit or individual.
