Ian adds "The piper's name is Laing, the tall moustached officer is Lt. Parker and, my dad, RSM Jack Quarrie is marching behind Lt. Parker with the cane under his left arm. I have always liked this picture because it shows how a group of fighting soldiers can "scrub up well" when needed."
