Service number 6298743. Frede Pedersen was a Danish sailor who came to England in 1941 where he was recruited into The Buffs. In 1942 he, along with 14 other Danish soldiers serving in The Buffs, volunteered for Commando Training. On completion of training, Frede served with No5 Cdo. 2 troop. Frede passed away in May 2015. Service medals: King Christian X Memorial Medal, Norwegian Navy 39-45, Atlantic Star, Defence Medal, Burma Star, War Medal.
