Hampshire Regiment and No 3 Commando. His daughter Ann adds, "My father joined the Hampshire Regiment T/A in 1940 . In 1941 his brother John Knight was on the HMS Hood, which was sunk and it was at this point my father joined the Commandos. I have tracked down his service number, 5507097"

Thomas Knight passed away on the 6th July 1976.
