Kevin adds "14241661 Thomas Gerald Dennis was in 3 Commando 6 Troop. Part of the Police intake from Liverpool to Achnacarry on 29 July 1942, his Regiment was shown as the Cheshire Regiment. He was wounded at Lentini in 1943 and again in Amfreville in 1944. He was subsequently medically discharged in February 1945. He held the following medals 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45. His boxing prowess was mentioned on several occasions in Brigadier Durnford-Slater's book Memoirs of a Fighting Commando in WW2"
