Front row: 1st right is Paddy Deighan; 2nd from the right is Bill (La) Aspey. Immediately behind Bill is Vic Pratt. Immediately behind Paddy is Ben Fryer.

13/01/10; update from Eric Buckmaster..." The Partisan is on his own at the back, the next line left to right as follows - the first is me Eric Buckmaster, the 2nd I can't recall, the 3rd is John Carpenter, 4th is Vic Pratt, 5th is Ben Fryer, 6th is either Wee Ainslie or Roy Spragg. Front line has one man hidden by the bush and then is as you say Bill Aspey and Paddy Deighan.
Unless, there is positive earlier identification that it was taken in Albania, I believe that the location of this photo is the Island of Vis, where we spent 6 months with Tito's Partisans raiding the Dalmatian Islands."
