Dad was always a proud man - he stayed in the Army until 1977 and he was in the RCT for many, many years - my childhood was via the Army in Cyprus, Signapore and Hong Kong - he was a Warrant Officer when he retired having spent he time as a navigator - he certainly enjoyed the sea having spent all my life and his retirement in Southampton"

Update by Pete R.24/10/11 " In the obituary section of the original Commando Association newsletter No.111 of September 2000 there is notice of No.2 Commando Robert Kenyon Jackson's death. Alongside the details it states " also served in No.3 Cdo. "
