Photo courtesy of his daughter Kathy Deayton who adds " My father trained on the Isle of Arran and went to Egypt, Cyprus, Syria and Palestine. He was in C Batallion and his army number was 6897574. He survived the war and lived in Torquay where he married and had 3 children. He passed away at home in Torquay at the age of 77 on 21st August, 1993."
Kathy adds "In Loving Memory of my Darling Daddy, Ken Deayton, a War Hero and mine. 15.12.1915 - 23.08.1993"
