Sgt Geoff Broadman (birth name Friedl Sruh)

Extract from Commando Association newsletter 10 issued March 1950.
"L/Sgt (now CQMS) G. M. Broadman (10 Cdo) now with the 1st Bn. West Yorkshire Regt. in Austria, will be pleased to welcome members at his flat in Spittal, Carinthia. During recent years he has been making a name for himself in Army sporting circles, having to his credit the B.T.A. and British Army Ski championships, and in 1948 received the title of the "Army's best all rounder". On one occasion he received his prize from Association Vice-President, Brigadier T. B. L. Churchill, C.B.E., M.C. (ex 2 Cdo Bde)."

"C/Sgt. G. M. Broadman.(10 Cdo) is still having great success in the Services Winter Sports and last year carried off the Inter Services Championship at St. Moritz".
