Jack Bakker adds "This is Jack van Rosendael. On the photo he is a Corporal but became a Sergeant and as such was killed by the explosion of a German V1 rocket on 10 March 1945 whilst an instructor to the Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten (Interior Forces) at Princenhage, a small town in the neighbourhood of Breda. He is remembered each year on the 22nd of March (coming from 22 March 1942, the founding date of the Dutch Commandos), together with all the Commandos who were killed and whose names are on the monument of the fallen which is in the Commando Barracks."
