Jack Bakker adds: "This is 2 Troop probably at Porthmadog Station. The way they hold their rifles, In Den Arm Geweer, indicate that they salute some visiting or high ranking dignitary. In this case it could be that they are saluting Dutch Secretary of War, Mr Van Lidth de Jeude, who visited 2 Troop and witnessed a training assault."
note: In Den Arm Geweer literally translates to 'Rifle in his arm'
