Photos courtesy of his great nephew Aaron Caldicott who adds " Albert enlisted in The Kings Shropshire Light Infantry , this being the local regiment to Herefordshire at the out break of the war. He volunteered for the Commandos later in the war and served in Burma. Albert very rarely talked about his war service. He was born in 1920 and died in 1994. In 1950 he married Joyce Gibbons and they had 2 daughters. Joyce died in 2000. Albert's brother was my grandfather. Albert was born and lived all his life in the Leominster Area"
