John Willis-Jones reference letter from Capt. T. Gordon-Hemmings
John served with No.1 Commando from 1940 (Signalman) and in their North African campaign. He was known as John Willis JONES, or Jacky Jones, although the correct surname is WILLIS-JONES. He later served as a Sergeant Instructor of Physical Training at the Commando Basic Training Centre at Achnacarry.
