Update 7/6/44 from Pete R. I found this note written by Ernie Brooks BEM of No.4 Commando about Peter Young: Brigadier Peter Young DSO, MC, 28th July 1915 -13th Sept.1988. Respectfully known as "Bungie" by those who served with him. A "Local Lad", owned stables at Ryall, and on retirement lived at Twyning Manor. He was the head of The Sealed Knot. A great character. A renowned author. A visit to St Mary's Church at Ripple to view his Memorial window is well worth your time"
