Achnacarry - Keyes Commando Course Winter 1945
Keyes Commando Training Course taken at Achncarry sometime in late November early December 1945.

The CVA has been granted permission to display this photo by Denis Muir of the Clan Cameron Museum at Achnacarry. The original is in the museum. My thanks to my nephew Pete Dunlop who took this photograph of the original on our vist there 7th April 2010.
Update 18/4/2010: Of the group of officers in the front row with diagonal belts across their tunics, Lt. Niall Thompson is the third officer from the left.
Update 7/9/2017: This was a Royal Marines course (although many of the instructors were still Army) and the photograph was taken just before the passing out parade before Christmas 1945. Info from J. Robin Auld, CH/X 116838. (RM 1945-1947)
