Sgt. McLuckie, 3rd from right top row, was severely wounded in North Africa following the Torch Landings. Consequently, he missed D Day with 6 Commando but eventually returned to active service at the (then) depot at Wrexham. He died of cancer in 1977 [Source: Ian McLuckie]
