26 February 1943 (Battle of Steamroller Farm) (Sergeant) wounded during operations in North Africa [2]. <br />
20 May 1944 commissioned Second Lieutenant, R.A.O.C. [3].<br />
Post war member of the Commando Association (Staffordshire), final rank in the Commandos TSM [4].<br />
