14241625 Bombardier Charles Roland Featherstone, known as Ron, served in the HQ of No.10 (Inter Allied) Commando. He volunteered for the Commandos from the Police enlisting on 23 July 1942 as part of the 2nd Police Intake to the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre), Achnacarry. In 1939 he was a Police Constable residing in Kingston upon Hull with his parents. His father Arthur was a retired Police Inspector. Re-joined the Police after the war and by 1967 was a Police Inspector in the Hull City Police. Member of the Commando Association.<br />

14241633 Lance Bombardier George Edward Jones, No.3 Commando, was wounded in action 14 July 1943 at Agnone, Sicily, and the bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge). Also served in No.10 Inter Allied Commando.<br />
George Edward Jones was a Police Cadet before becoming a Kingston upon Hull Constable in 1938. He volunteered for the Commandos and on 23 July 1942 was posted to the 2nd Police Intake at the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre), Achnacarry. He served in the Commandos until 18 October 1945. In 1948 he moved to Eastbourne and joined the Eastbourne Constabulary where he remained for 20 years retiring as a Sergeant in 1968. <i>&quot;L/Sgt (now CQMS) G. M. Broadman (10 Cdo) now with the 1st Bn. West Yorkshire Regt. in Austria, will be pleased to welcome members at his flat in Spittal, Carinthia. During recent years he has been making a name for himself in Army sporting circles, having to his credit the B.T.A. and British Army Ski championships, and in 1948 received the title of the &quot;Army's best all rounder&quot;. On one occasion he received his prize from Association Vice-President, Brigadier T. B. L. Churchill, C.B.E., M.C. (ex 2 Cdo Bde).&quot;</i><br />

Pierre Beauprez served in the ranks of 4 (Belgian] Troop of No.10 (IA) Commando in WWII. On 18 March 1951 the then Lieutenant Beauprez was the first serviceman of the Belgian Forces to die in Korea.
