Lt Col Dudley Stuart Lister MC
Lt Col Lister MC, a veteran of WW1, commenced his commando service with No.7 Commando before replacing Colonel Legard as OC of No 4 Commando in its early days. In January 1942 he left No 4 Commando to take command of No 10 Commando. A former Army heavyweight boxing champion, he was awarded his Military Cross whilst serving with the Buffs in WW1.
