Info from Jack Bakker 15/12/09 &quot; On the fourth row, third from the left is De Ruyter. During operation Market Garden he was attached to the British 52nd Lowland Division in the rank of second lieutenant. During operation Infatuate he was in charge of the detachment of Dutch Commandos that landed at Flushing. He died a few months ago.&quot;<br />

<a href="https://www.commandoveterans.org/HaroldBeesley3Commando" rel="nofollow">549217 Warrant Officer Class I, Harold Edwin Beesley</a>, 13th/18th Royal Hussars, Royal Armoured Corps and No 3 Commando, who died as a prisoner of war at Stalag VIIIB,Lamsdorf, aged 39 on 10 March 1945. Remembered with honour at Krakow Rakowicki Cemetery.<br />

<a href="https://www.commandoveterans.org/RoyGeorgeHerbert3Commando " rel="nofollow">Lieutenant Roy Gorge Herbert DCM MM</a>, Northamptonshire Regiment and No. 3 Commando, who died age 31 on 08 June 1944. Remembered with honour at Ranville War Cemetery.<br />

<a href="https://www.commandoveterans.org/JohnHutchings3Commando" rel="nofollow">326315 Second Lieutenant John Middleton Hutchings</a>, Royal Welch Fusiliers and No 3 Commando, who died on the 23rd January 1945 aged 24. Remembered with honour at Mook War Cemetery.<br />

<a href="https://www.commandoveterans.org/DavidMackie3Commando" rel="nofollow">5340202 Sergeant David Robert Goode Mackie</a>, Royal Berkshire Regiment and No. 3 Commando who died age 24 on 14 July 1943. Remembered with honour at Syracuse War Cemetery.<br />

<a href="https://www.commandoveterans.org/FredTeasdale3Commando" rel="nofollow">3601057 Sergeant Fred Teasdale</a>, Border Regiment and No. 3 Commando, who died age 23 on 20 August 1942. Remembered with honour at Gamaches Communal Cemetery.<br />
