Kenneth 'Ken' Osborn REES, No. 5 Commando, courtesy of his friend Angela Dodd-Crompton who adds &quot;Ken was a commando from 1943 to 1944 when he was shipped out to South Africa with Malaria and TB. He wasn't expected to live and took two years to recuperate sufficiently to be sent home but survived another 69 years.&quot; Ken died on 19th December 2013, aged 90.<br />
