JACQUES NADEAU Fusiliers Mont-Royal ( French Canadian ) taken prisoner Dieppe raid and Sister Agnes-Marie VALOIS age 98.
She was nurse in Rouen Hospital in august 1942, with all the other nurses, they saved many lifes.

My Dad
The man second from the right is my father, Arthur Holme.
I didn't know that his nickname in the Army was "The Bull" until the day of his funeral when I was told by Jack Strain who came to the wedding and I assume is the poster, Daniel's, grandfather.

4 Troop. 3 Commando.
No 51 is Eric Albert(Lofty)Hill. Joined from Metropolitan Police. Served North Africa, Sicily, Italy and North West Europe. Not on D-Day. In Weymouth Hospital with German Measles! Wore Gordon Highlander badge although signed on as Royal Fusilier at Tower of London. Was instructor at Achnacarry for a while, training Dutch commandos. Ended War as Corporal.
Died with my mother on 9th April 1970 when the 'London Valour' on which he was the Radio Officer sank in a gale off Genoa, Italy.

Alastair Cameron
My Grandfather Alastair Cameron is back row centre, brown jacket and not looking at the camera! He always wore the kilt to reunions and I believe was well known in Spean Bridge as he lived locally until his death.
