Terrance Kealy (Keeley) No 4 Cdo.
Hello
I am told that Terrance Kealy (often referred to as Rifleman Keeley)was in No 4 Cdo. in WW2. He joined from the KRRC (King's Royal Rifle Corps). Is this true ? I would like to know, as I am a relative.
After the war, he was a Policeman for 29 or so years.
Could anybody tell me whether Terrance is in this photograph. he died age 89 in February 2012 in Thetford.
I would be interested for any information on his involvement in No.4 Cdo.

Senior NCOs 43 Commando
I am new to this site and have found it invaluable/interesting as I am transposing my father's diary into a document to pass on to his grandchildren/greatgrandchildren. So I am very grateful for the photos, to put faces to the names he mentions.
His name was C/Sgt Norman Leach and he was friends with Tansy Lee and Bill Thoday(?).
The photo of SNCOs has a name missing from the top row as my dad is 5th from the left. Also I am not sure that Sgts Lee and Thoday are in the right order, as I vaguely remember meeting Tansy in the 1950s. I also remember the Xmas cards we used to get.
I would be interested to know if anyone out there has any anecdotes or stories about my dad, or if I can help anyone else in any way.

The commando who is third from the left in the back row is my uncle, Pvt. Lewis John Jones, who was injured on D Day but when healed returned for three more missions and for occupation in Holland. We have his Eisenhower's pre D Day letter to the troops, and my Uncle has signatures of all his commando buddies on the back and front margin of the letter. We also have a larger picture of his No. 4 unit, his will that all had to sign before leaving, the telegram sent to his mother about his injury, and his release paper. We also have his commando beret with badges.
