Sergeant Erling Magnus Djupdræt
Sgt. Djupdræt, a Norwegian, was attached as a guide/scout to the No 2 Commando raiding party for Operation Musketoon.
Photo courtesy of Stig Olav Johansen who adds that Sgt. Djupdraet evaded initial capture but was badly wounded by a German who bayoneted him in the stomach in Fykandalen, inside a cabin. He died of his wounds in hospital in Bodø on Sept. 24th. 1942, three days after the Musketoon Operation.
