Post war member of the original Commando Association. Appointed MBE (Civil Division) in the 2004 New Years Honours List for services to the community in Southwark, announced in Commando Association Newsletter 118 of Feb 2004.<br />
Renovated a Thames barge that he owned called “The Spirit of Mountbatten&quot; and went on to win the Thames Barge boat race in it.<br />
Charles Edward Robson MBE died on Wednesday 1st June 2016. His daughter Sara adds &quot;He was a very proud member of the Commando Association and served as a Commando under Lord Mountbatten in Burma.&quot;]]></description>
