Eddie Tucker was one of the few who were evacuated back to the UK after the St Nazaire raid. He later joined the Parachute Regiment. Wounded in North West Europe on 22 June 1944 whilst a Lance Sergeant in the 13th Bn., Parachute Regiment, Army Air Corps.<br />
