Front row left to right: 1. Pte. Stanley Smith (No 4 Cdo. Stan was the founder and Chairman of the Edinburgh and Lothians Branch. For many years Stan provided all the headed stationary for the CA and the CBF free of charge, Stan passed away in 2001); 2. RQMS Henry Brown OBE (No 1 Cdo and Secretary of the Commando Association. Henry lived in Ruislip but used to visit the Branches from time to time. Henry passed away on the 26 February 2006); 3. Jim Bishop (Hon Sec Central Ayrshire Branch until 1981).
