<description><![CDATA[[There is a photo adjacent to this one of his original grave. From that image he was a Temporary Captain at the time of his death. We have a photo of 10(IA) Commando 3 troop to which he belonged. On a nominal roll adjacent to the photo his original first name is shown as Kurt. He is also referred to elsewhere as Kurt Glaser. He is believed to have been killed in action crossing the River Aller.<br />
