21.02.1945 re-joined 43RM Commando, Italy.
26.03.1945 attached  HQ 2 Commando Brigade, Italy.
05.04.1945 re-joined 43RM Commando, Italy.
19.06.1945 embarked HMS Caernarvon Castle, Naples, Italy, for UK.
26.06.1945 disembarked UK for Holding Operational Commando.
21.08.1945 joined 45RM Commando.
31.01.1946 embarked UK for Hong Kong.
07.03.1946 disembarked Kowloon.

CH/X105907 Marine Percy Jeal, aged 20, died on 28 March 1944 during an air attack on Vis, their base of operations against enemy held Dalmatian Islands. Son of Percy Walter and Mary Jeal, of Hassocks, Sussex. Remembered with honour at Belgrade War Cemetery. His brother Ernest served in 42RM Commando. Photo provided by Ernest's granddaughter Sarah.
