Just to be clear this photo is of E troop as the similarity to the previous picture detailed as
"Some of E Troop 43 RM Commando

Robinson Collins was my father he was MOA to William (Bill) Jenkins DSO seen here again as in a similar previous photo by a large dug out through the south bank of the Reno in sector A1 stood with his back facing on the right.

My father is E.G. Stokoe. Affectionately known as Ted. On the back row second from the left. The author of Lower the Ramps and Once a Marine. He lost his leg to a German mine on 12th March 1945. He always had tremendous spirit and unless they were told, people could not believe he had a disability.
