1943 Commando Signals Christmas card from L/Sgt Harold Bull to his family
Photo courtesy of his daughter Peta Bull who adds " This is the Christmas card that Dad designed, cut the block and had printed in Italy. He sent it to his parents and Bob and Frank have also signed it. They were from the same TA group or whatever you call it in Wavertree district in Liverpool. He sent another to Town Clerks Printing and Stationery Office where he worked. On that one he wrote ""I was responsible for this little effort. It is no credit to the Stationery Dept but a pokey Itie printers is a far cry from Tinlings and I had to cut the block from a chunk of wood. Hope you have a Merry Xmas. We are going to do our bit. Cheers, Harold." Tinlings was a big Liverpool Printers used by the Town Clerks.
