<description><![CDATA[Hermanville War Cemetery in 1945. Photo from the collection of Lt Guy Vourc'h, No 4 Cdo  Troop 1 , 1e BFMC Cdt Philippe Kieffer courtesy of his son Jean-Guy Vourc'h who adds &quot;The photo was taken by my father, <a href="https://gallery.commandoveterans.org/cdoGallery/v/units/10IA/French/Guy+Vourch.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">Lt Guy Vourc'h</a>, in 1945 in Hermanville War Cemetery when the crosses were being changed. My father was beside Lance Corporal Rousseau when he died. He was in his troop.  From that troop 1, on D-Day , Raymond DUMENOIR  and Raymond FLESSH  were killed on the beach too, Emile RENAULT  and Paul ROLLIN in front of the  casino.  Med Capt Robert LION was killed just after when rescuing  Rollin.&quot;<br />

In Memory of all the Fallen including those below whose names can be seen on some of the crosses. Some were not serving in the Commandos.<br />
