No.6 Commando officers and CSM George Phillips

George Phillips served in No 6 Commando becoming the Troop Sergeant Major of 6 troop. Post war in 1945, during the period of demobilization, he was moved to No 2 Commando Brigade HQ.
Left to right:
1. Lt. John Clapton MC (formerly 12 Cdo); 2. Capt. Andrew J.O. Gordon; 3. Lt. Peter Cruden (formerly 12 Cdo); 4. n/k; 5. Capt. John (Jack) Clovis; 6. Capt. Ronnie G.K. Hardey MC; 7. n/k; 8. Major David Henry John Griffiths Powell; 9. Lt. Terence James Hugo (kia); 10. Lt.Col. Charles Courtney Coade (former Adjutant,wounded on D Day, returned to No 6 Cdo and took over as OC, later replaced because of his injury by Lt Col. Tony Lewis); 11-12. n/k; 13. Capt Ryan Price; 14-19. n/k; 20. CSM George Phillips.

No6 Commando Officers--6th Officer in from the left
Hello all, the officer in the above photo, 6 in from the left is my Uncle Cpt Ronnie GK Hardey MC.
I am amazed to see this photograph, thank you all so much. I have never seen it before and it adds to my understanding of No6...Thank you
