Dar es Salam with 45 Commando after the African Kings Royal Rifle mutiny.
Singapore with 42 Commando and onto Kuwait to await the Iraqis, who fortunately didn’t arrive...
Whilst in Singapore with 42 Commando he went on live firing exercise to North Malaya and this is when the photo of him as No.1 with the Vickers was taken.
To Bickleigh with 41 Commando then to Aden with 45 Commando.
Back to Bickleigh then to Singapore with 42 Commando and the Borneo campaign.
Last tour of duty was as tour guide on HMS Victory.
