Arthur 'Happy ' Jackson
Fort William 2002. John Mewett (CVA Lincoln Branch Sec and , son of Bob Mewett No.1 Cdo.) on the left and Arthur'Happy' Jackson of 4 troop No 1 Cdo. Arthur was a respected boxer, and he, and Bob Mewett were in the No 1 Cdo team boxing in Poona India V 156 Fo Regt. No 1 Commando were the winners and the small cup that Arthur is holding is the winners cup brought back by Bob Mewett. This was the first time Arthur had seen it since 1946 he said the losers received a cup 5 times as big!!
