12/11/13 Update from Ken Reynolds " Wally referred to in the photo is my father Walter John Albert Reynolds s/n T/69250, and the Hyslops were the mother and daughter at whose house my father was billeted. After the war my parents kept in touch with the Hyslops and in fact honeymooned on Arran. I do not have any recollection of hearing my father talking about Don but would be interested to know if Nick could throw any light on him. My father served in the LRDG and was badly wounded in action in Syria on 09/06/41 when he took a bullet above and a bullet below his heart along with one threw his left hand from a Vichy French machine gun."

(Information update, 21Aug 2012. Following discussion between Chris Brown, Jessie Taylor, Donny and Ian McHarg it is now believed that Ted was probably in 3 Troop and not 1 Troop as was previously thought.)
