There are numerous other photos in the gallery of Henry who was attached to No.1 Commando. Post war from 1946 until 1986 Henry Brown OBE was General Secretary and Treasurer of the original Commando Association that stood down in 2005.
The writing on the bottom of the photo refers to Gailes Firing Range which I assume was at Gailes Camp located between Troon and Irvine in Scotland
