 <description><![CDATA[This picture shows the Elbe crossing at Lauenburg, April 29th, 1945 with Buffaloe amphibious vehicles returning from the north bank. The picture is taken from the south bank of the Elbe, a the village of Hohnstorf. On the opposite Bank one can see the steep banks west of the village of Lauenburg. Above the first Buffaloe, on the other bank the local sports ground was located.]]></description>
