I have quite a few photos of his time in 40 commando. I know he served in Malaya, Singapore, Korea and Malta between the dates 1946 when he joined and about 1953 or '54.

I have a high resolution scan of this image.

I never knew where it was taken till seeing this picture. We only learned a little more of my father's time in the marines after my mothers death.
